Дмитрия Донского военный комиссариат Тульской области в совместно с правительством Тульской области, администрацией города Тулы, командованием Тульского гарнизона провел Всероссийскую молодёжно-патриотическую акцию «День призывника», в которой приняли участие военнослужащие 51 гвардейского полка, Русской православной церкви, ветераны Воздушно-десантных войск, представители регионального отделения Всероссийского детско-юношеского военно-патриотического общественного движения «ЮНАРМИЯ», члены военно-патриотических клубов, призывники Тульской области.
Цель данного мероприятия познакомить будущих призывников со службой в ВДВ , с образцами современного обмундирования и снаряжения, средствами десантирования, вооружения и военной техники .
Атаман Западного окружного казачьего общества Алексей Альховик: «Ребята, защищать Родину это почетно и престижно. Сам я проходил службу в ВДВ и в Афганистане. Сегодня здесь вы можете увидеть, в каких условиях служат наши ребята, чему учатся. Я желаю каждому из вас пройти службу в армии и вернуться домой»
