Помещение для будущего штаба западного округа Центрального Казачьего Войска было найдено благодаря совместным усилиям тульского казачества и администрации города Тула в 2015 году. Представители администрации пошли на встречу нуждам казачества и предоставили безвозмездно здание, которое имеет историческое значение и расположено почти в центре Тулы.
Понимая, что без Божьего благословения основание окружного штаба благого успеха не получит, казаки обратились к председателю Епархиального отдела по взаимодействию с казачеством протоиерею Игорю Корейше. Отец Игорь с радостью откликнулся на обращение казаков, и спустя несколько дней иерей Антоний Фадеев, секретарь отдела по взаимодействию с казачеством, посетил штаб для того, чтобы освятить его.
Перед молитвой отец Антоний обратился к казакам: «В читаемой нами молитве есть упоминание о человеке Закхее. Он был малого роста, по пофессии был мытарь — то есть сборщик податей, налогов, а значит, обладал средствами и определенным статусом. И раскаиваясь, он говорит Спасителю удивительные по своей решимости слова: «Господи! половину имения
В течение этого года в помещении проходит ремонт, и в ближайшее время атаманы предпримут усилия для проведения субботника и для приведения помещения в порядок.
