Цикл мероприятий казачьей культуры проводится в соответствии со Стратегией развития государственной политики Российской Федерации в отношении российского казачества до 2020 года в Калуге.
Цели проекта: развитие культурных традиций российского казачества; развитие сотрудничества в области казачьей культуры; культурное, духовное и нравственное воспитание молодежи.
Актуальность проекта: Выбор места и времени проведения проекта обуславливается тем, что в данных регионах стремительно растет интерес к самобытной казачьей культуре. Учитывая, что специалистов по данному направлению не выпускает ни один ВУЗ или СУЗ культуры в России, назрела необходимость проведения семинаров-практикумов, проводимых ведущими российскими специалистами в области казачьей культуры для ознакомления руководителей и специалистов ЦКК, руководителей любительских творческих коллективов с самобытной казачьей культурой и координации деятельности профильных специалистов по данному направлению.
Западное окружное казачье общество представляют Николай Губенков, Алексей Лепёхин и Светлана Комиссарова.
