15 февраля врио Губернатора Тульской области Алексей Дюмин провел рабочую встречу с председателем Тульской областной организации Российского Союза ветеранов Афганистана Алексеем Альховиком.
А. Дюмин: Здравствуйте, Алексей Иванович!
Знаю, что возглавляемое Вами региональное отделение Российского Союза ветеранов Афганистана особое внимание уделяет патриотическому воспитанию, вопросам поддержки тех военнослужащих, которые принимали участие в боевых действиях за пределами нашего Отечества.
Хотел бы услышать о планах вашей организации, какие есть проблемные вопросы, в решение которых мы могли оперативно включиться, оказать вам содействие и всестороннюю помощь.
А.Альховик: Спасибо за поддержку, которую правительство Тульской области оказывает нашей и другим организациям, которые занимаются ветеранской деятельностью и военно-патриотической работой среди молодежи.
Деятельность Тульской областной организации Российского Союза ветеранов Афганистана заключается в оказании всесторонней помощи ветеранам, инвалидам, семьям погибших в защите их интересов.
Вторая основная задача – патриотическое воспитание молодого поколения. Потому что мы – люди, которые одели погоны. Вы это понимаете, как никто другой. Мы навсегда заключили соглашение с государством защищать его, Поэтому, несмотря на то, что ветераны в основном пенсионеры, они весь свой опыт хотят передать молодежи.
А.Дюмин: Одним словом, они по-прежнему находятся в строю.
А.Альховик: В настоящий момент у нас в организации насчитывается 1395 человек. Всего в Тульской области проживает около 14 тысяч участников боевых действий. 350 человек из них являются инвалидами.
Тульская область — первая в Российской Федерации, где был принят региональный закон о мерах социальной поддержки инвалидов и участников боевых действий, членов семей погибших.
Планы у нас большие. Организация работает очень активно.
Есть у нас одна проблема, которую мы хотели решить – в Московской области функционирует Центр восстановительной терапии им. М.А. Лиходея. И мы хотели попросить вас по возможности подключиться с тем, чтобы кроме инвалидов боевых действий, которые выезжают регулярно, имели возможность получать туда направление и участники боевых действий.
А.Дюмин: Дам необходимое поручение. Постараемся помочь в этом вопросе.
