Алексей Иванович обратился к аудитории с вопросом, какая самая острая проблема стоит перед нашим государством, на что получил самый правильный, по его мнению, ответ — демографическая проблема населения.
Алексей Иванович привел пример, что в Тульской области смертность населения вдвое превышает рождаемость. И многие не задумываются над этим вопросом. Это, по его мнению, так же связано с незнанием молодежью истории и корней своих предков, которые не только имели многочисленное потомство, но и воспитывали молодежь в православном духе, трудолюбивой, почитающей старших, преданной Отечеству.
«В истории нашей страны немало страниц, которые имеют важное значение для патриотического воспитания граждан, — подчеркнул депутат. — Еще много неизученных пластов, и я хочу, чтобы молодежь занялась глубоким изучением истории своей родины. Крайне необходимо формировать у молодых россиян чувство гордости за свое Отечество, готовить молодежь к выполнению обязанностей по защите страны». При этом он привел несколько фактов из истории, когда мужество и самоотверженность туляков сыграли важную роль в защите государства Российского.
Затем с докладами выступили представители региональных молодежных парламентов. В своих выступлениях они поделились опытом работы по развитию патриотического воспитания в своих регионах. Интересные проекты и наработки, к примеру, в Калужской области — разработана настольная игра, посвященная Великой Отечественной войне, нацеленная на развитие у детей тяги к истории.
Как отметил депутат, подобные форумы нужны и должны проводиться чаще, они не только воспитывают молодежь, но и учат ребят быть гражданами страны, лидерами, брать на себя ответственность за происходящее, быть защитниками Родины!
