В рамках работы ярмарки «Тула Православная» состоялась презентация книги историка, краеведа, потомственного казака Александра Лепехина «Николай Угодник и тульское воинство».
Работа над книгой нашего земляка Александра Никитича Лепехина продолжалась несколько лет. А собранные материалы, работа в архивах, на раскопках – это целая жизнь, другая жизнь, посвященная памяти родной земле, которая раскрывает свои тайны тем, кто умеет искать.
Будучи потомком дедиловских казаков, ведущих свой род с XVI века, много внимания Александром Никитичем, естественно, уделено истории, и в первую очередь — военной истории родного края: за прошедшее время автором написано 25 книг по истории села Дедилово, Тулы и Тульской области.
Так и в книге, представленной вниманию зрителей, центральное место занимает боевая история Дедилова с XVI века, почитание Святителя Николая туляками и его покровительство защитникам Тульского кремля в 1552 году, когда лишь небольшое ополчение обороняло Тулу от нападения крымского хана Девлет-Гирея. Святитель Николай, как известно, один из самых любимых святых, почитаемых на Руси, и сам святитель Николай не раз зримо проявлял свое покровительство молящимся тулякам в трудную годину.
В ходе презентации автор, пользуясь иллюстрациями из книги, кратко рассказал о ключевых моментах, раскрытых в книге.
Так в книге описаны упоминания о явлении Святителя Николая в кафедральном соборе Дедилова, а также обретение известной иконы Николы Тульского. В годы Советской власти, после разрушения женского Успенского монастыря, икона была утеряна. В наши дни этот образ по сохранившимся в письменных источниках изображениям был воссоздан, и ныне хранится в Свято-Никольском храме (на Ржавце) г. Тула. Риза, тканая серебром, хранится ныне в Тульском областном Краеведческом музее.
Также интересной вниманию любителей отечественной истории станет тесная взаимосвязь между этими событиями и готовящимся походом Иоанна Грозного на Казань. Ведь немалую часть войска Иоанна Грозного составляли тульские боевые дружины. И историческим свидетельством этому являлись топонимы, сохранившиеся в Переписной книге Казани 1566 года. Когда-то на картах Казани была и улица – Тульская, и ворота – Тульские, и прекрасный величественный собор Николы Тульского.
Об этом и многом другом можно прочесть в этой небольшой, но увлекательной книге, написанной доступным и живым языком.
