25 марта с рабочим визитом Тулу посетил полномочный представитель Президента Российской Федерации в Центральном федеральном округе, председатель Совета при Президенте Российской Федерации по делам казачества Александр Беглов. В поездке полномочного представителя Президента РФ в ЦФО сопровождал губернатор Тульской области Владимир Груздев.
В областном центре Александр Беглов и Владимир Груздев возложили цветы к Вечному огню на площади Победы и к памятнику тулякам — Героям Советского Союза, погибшим во время Великой Отечественной войны 1941-1945 гг.
В церемонии возложения также приняли участие глава администрации города Тулы Евгений, главный федеральный инспектор по Тульской области аппарата полномочного представителя Президента Российской Федерации в Центральном федеральном округе Иван Черных, казаки Западного окружного казачьего общества Войскового казачьего общество «Центральное казачье войско». От имени казаков полномочного представителя Президента РФ в ЦФО приветствовал атаман ЗОКО ВКО ЦКВ Алексей Альховик.
